Free-Writing: Create a Regular Prompts List
As well as using our weekly prompts we recommend that you also do regular free-writing entries as part of your journal. One way to use this is to have a list of regular prompts that you turn to – to inspire your free-writing entries. These should be a list of prompts that work well for you and align with your goals to help you make your career journalling more beneficial to you – personally.
We recommend that you write out these list of regular prompts and that you keep them at the front (or back) of your journal. Alternatively, if you plan ahead by drawing out your journal you might want to include some of your regular prompts in your layout.
You should regularly review these regular prompts to make sure that you are using prompts that help guide your writing and your career development. I have recently reviewed mine and come up with a new list (pictured above). These will be my career prompts for the next couple of months.
