F is for… Feedback

Seek feedback from clients, colleagues and your boss throughout the year not just at appraisal time (and keep a record of it).

If you are constantly seeking feedback (in a professional way) and always looking to improve it will make it easier to self-evaluate your performance and talk about your accomplishments when it comes to performance review time.

You can also of course use the feedback to improve and push yourself forward and praises highly sung can make it into the brag pile.

Finally, don’t forget to ask for feedback in the appraisal itself.
